Description

I AM BACK. I AM BACK TO THE BUSINESS. :squee:

This drawing contains all the versions of my most ancient O.C. ever, Rebecca Gamma 3. xD

The first one, created in 1994 and used until the first half of the year 1998, is awfully square and rhombic. I was three years old when I drew Rebecca Gamma 3 by first time, so I consider I am enough lucky to make comprehensible figures, and specially considering that I could not even hold the pencil in the right way then. Her name was "R.B.K. Shadow" then, and her story is the most ancient story I have created ever. The meaning of "R.B.K." is a mysterious thing, but "R" refers to the name (Rita, Reena or Red Rose... I never could choose a name for her before 2003), "B" means "Beta" (due to the fact that her story already simulated to be an anime recorded on Betamax tapes) and also "B.B. Anna" (the magical creature's that gave her some powers; I replaced it with "Bibian" in the year 2003) and the "K" had always an unknown meaning for me (I decided that its meaning would be "Kitsune" until 2003). xD

The second one, created in 1998 and used until the first quarter of the year 2003, is still overly square. At least it has a better shape. But drawing that hairstyle is still so hard for me (I never could draw the right side), that after years dealing with that issue, I had decided to modify it. Notice that I added a hairband, wavy hair and her definitive facial features. Certainly, I had created the concept "Machtenöllampe" (Potencies' Oil Lamp, in German) in 1996, but I added it oficially in the year 1998, taking as basis the emblem I observed in a car's dashboard. Her emblem reminds of the idea of burning fire - in fact, her distinctive power consists of creating fire or absorbing heat anywhere she focuses with her eyes - and this is the why her emblem's color is red. From then on, I chose the colors of her clothes: Wine red and yellow. Yes, like ketchup and mustard. It also matches her personality and her role inside her story, which was already mixed Richard Gamma 4's story. She became "Commander R.B.K. Shadow", where "Shadow" comes from the fact that she is able to move and to surprise other with her attacks as if she were a shadow behind her rivals and opponents. xD

The third one, created in the year 2003 and used until the first quarter of the year 2007 (hence, the version is named "2003-2006"). I modified the hairband, and I added her round, golden earrings. I also created the concept "Lingerie Armor", which consists of swimwear that also is underwear, able to become armors and other kinds of suits. Since she is my first O.C., when I created the concept "The Beta Rays" in the year 2003, I used her story as the basis for the other stories of my O.C.'s. Hence, she became Joshua's bigger sister, and therefore likely to Joshua Beta 1... way too much similar with Joshua. Sometimes, they seemed twins. This is the reason which, despite I prefer this version, I had to replace it. Unfortunately, it still was considered unsuitable that "a boyish girl were the protagonist for a male-adult focused (seinen) anime" (that's the why lots of anime series were banned from TV in Mexico, without mentioning they were labeled as "devilish and demoniac"). That is the why Joshua Beta 1 became the first protagonist instead of Rebecca Gamma 3. In this year my O.C.'s also acquire their actual names. xD

The fourth and last one was created in the last quarter of the year 2008 (hence, it's the 2009 version), and it's still the actual version of nowadays. After remembering and re-discovering "Slayers", an anime I watched on TV at the end of the 20th century (banned due to its main protagonist's feature: a female, boyish witch proving to be smarter and even better than other males) and, specially, her protagonist (Lina Inverse), I decided to honor them modifying Rebecca's appearance and adding some other elements into "The Beta Rays" in order to make it more interesting. I mixed Rebecca's first hairstyle with Lina Inverse's hairstyle, and then I added Rebecca's facial features (she is a character based on my own mother!). After a hard decision, I decided that Rebecca would leave to be dark-skinned and would become pale-skinned and reddish like a Norse girl in order to justify and explain the "K" from "R.B.K." (A genetically modified Kitsune, that looks like a little Norse girl, similar with Lina Inverse). But no, it's not a traced Lina Inverse. Notice that Rebecca has a much more manly face, an evil and intimidating glare, muscular body, B-size breasts, dark brown eyes and red hair with twelve thick ringlets in the bangs. xD

Despite all the different versions of the same character, Rebecca always has been short (4 ft 9 in or 1 m 44 cm), muscular and with boyish features. Which version of Rebecca do you prefer and why?
